Magarghat is a funeral place where dead bodies are cremated by burning on fire aside the river. Funeral comes from the Latin root fūnus, for “dead body,” and so a funeral is the ritual that encircling taking care of a dead body.

Planation are done in the bank of river to prevent soil erosion. The wharfage area is typically plastered with cements mortar making it long lasting and providing a comfortable space for people to perform their rituals. There are maximum 2 or 3 wharfage area which is kind of small so, Construction of another wharfage should be done to prevent mess.
