Introduction to Global Peace Park
•Global Peace Park is a meditational place and well-known park of Butwal. It is located in Dhaba, Butwal in the Rupandehi district of Lumbini Province. We can simply called it a meditation park where people come to meditate and enjoy their holiday and to spend time with their loved ones but you are only allowed to go with your family, friends and relatives. If you have your own vehicle then you can easily get there but if you don’t have one then you can get on the microbus/winger which runs from Golpark, Hospital line, Purano Bus Park, etc.
•Or you can take E-rickshaw to get there. Maximum people come here to enjoy peace. So, on the weekend they come here to enjoy and forget all the tiredness of the past days.
•It is really a peaceful and greenary place which is a little away from the main highway which makes it more attractive point. Global Peace Park is specially known for the local peaceful spot for internal/external tourists who are nature and peace lovers.
•Dating is restricted in this park because it is the holy place of Om Shanti Group. They do meditation in this place.

•Global Peace Park plays a charming role in the development of the nearby community. As I mentioned above, Global Peace Park is in the nature along with densed forest and access to greenary place, which reduces stress, anxiety, and depression, hyper tension.
•Spending time in nature helps to improve our mental health which makes our inner soul and mind relax. It also provides a gathering, events, meditational class, to the people of the community.
•Global Peace Park is a greenary place which helps in conserving the quality of air. Global Peace Park also provides a safe environment for the people who likes to meditate and develop their social skills mentally & physically with their peers.
Design & Features
•Simply, Global Peace Park is in between densed forest that is divided into different sections like playground area, meditation area, quiet zone, garden area, religious & cultural site, green grassy land, etc. The entry price of ticket is around Rs.50/100,if you have any identity card like student card or any office card you’ll get discount. In the playground, there are many swings and slides for children.
•Open grassland is also there, which looks stunning in the spring season. Mainly people choose grassland for meditate. Between the park, there is a big bridge and underneath river flow continuously which makes it more attractive.
• There are many kinds of plants designed in the shape of animals and birds which looks stunning.
• You can find so many types of benches inside the park. Here, restroom facility is also freely situated.
•There is a statue of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati with the background of Artificial Himalayans.
•Well, there are also many more big shed areas to be protected from the sun and the rain. Pathways are also clean and beside pathways, there are small green bush that make the pathway beautiful.

•The main attraction of Global Peace Park is the peaceful environment. Well, in my point of view, people mostly come here to enjoy the peaceful environment and to get fresh and cool air.
•Another main standout feature of Global Peace Park is the ability to unroll in your own unique style without any disturbances.
• Another major attraction is the garden where you can find different varieties of flowers which is so beneficial for us because we can get more knowledge by seeing it with our real eyes rather than seeing it on books.
Challenges & Community Involvement
•Global Peace Park is along with the densed forest and occupies a large amount of space, which presents challenges for the management team regarding cleaning and maintenance.
•For those who love to enjoy the day crazily this place is not for them which may cause less popularity of this park. Nothing can be taken inside the park except your essentials. Taking Food & drinks is also prohibited.
•There will be a high risk of vandalism damage and issues with the parking system, leading to misunderstandings and dangerous conflicts which will be difficult to achieve enough financial support for improvements and renovations.
•However, if all the locals living near the park participate in clean-up events and park maintenance. The management team should also organize meditation events or programs to raise funds.
•For the improvement of the park, gathering should be done with the help of locals as guides. In my opinion, cooperating with local businesses and organizations for support and other resources is also required.
Preserving the Park
•Not only the Management team, but as a discipline citizen we should also preserve the park. We shouldn’t let anyone to harm or damage the park’s property.
•Mainly, the management team should make strict rules and regulations for those people who try to harm the park. Waste management should be done properly.
•Regular maintenance should be carried out to ensure safety from electric shock and leakages. Feeding animals should be strictly prohibited.
•Last, but not least, conduct awareness programs about the importance of protecting and conserving parks.
Future Vision
•As we all know, Global Peace Park is a meditational park, we should focus to maintain peaceful environment of current state and ensure it remains eco-friendly for future generations. We should increase our efforts to protect and restore natural places.
•Designing of parks should be updated in the future to be accessible for everyone, including people with disabilities, and ensure unbiased access to green spaces.
•For the Upcoming Generations we should create awarness program of doing meditation and it’s advantages for our inner soul ,mind and for the body.
•The future vision for parks aims to improve sustainability, durability and reliability, accessibility, and biodiversity while integrating technology, fostering community engagement, and promoting health and education.
